We are working on a new track, based on the drums we made with cardboard boxes, and decided for a tribal feel, so percussions here we go:

Yesterday we took advance of a very dusty afternoon, and went recording some drums. You always wondered how those rhythms were made?

Two new tracks, in preview

We are currently working on two new tracks.

The first one is almost done; a couple of things are yet to be settled, so no introduction and second part of the track (for now).

The second is just a draft: as some of you might notice, guitars are taken from a previous version of grhh.

Just recently, a wonderful afternoon of mixing and recording music. There is a new track we’re working on, and we also toyed around with some objects for some sounds, that we might (or might not) use on another track.

Announcement

Well, as most readers guessed from the previous post, routine now has a vimeo channel, where you will be able to see most recordings, impros, collaborations, and concerts.

For the time being, in addition to the uff piano recordings, there are videos documenting the never ending work of our new collaboration, named “inORMA“, that we still do not know what will be, but concerns music, performance, video, composing and improvising, and a bunch of other things. And is quite an example of how some deeply intellectual stuff might be fun, also.

That’s a band, folks!

Routine is now a band. A band in which I still am some kind of dictator, but a band nonetheless: a nice man is lending his arms, legs, brains.
